
For Nuffield Health’s 2015 brand campaign, they decided to go for a personal approach, showcasing some of the amazing stories that they, as an organisation, help to create. Damian was a key example of this.
Following a liver transplant, Damian decided to make the most out of the time he had been given. This film tells the story of how he returned from the edge to win gold at the World Transplant Games.
Pulling at the emotional heart strings was an easy task given the talent in this film. Damian was a fantastic speaker and didn’t shy away from displaying his emotions around the subject matter.
In terms of production, getting up close and personal whilst Damian was swimming was the main challenge in this project. I used a combination of techniques and equipment to maintain a good visual quality, whilst also getting the shots needed. I also had to get my swim shorts on.
