This ad was produced for Nuffield Health’s most recent physiotherapy acquisition campaign. It’s based around people’s misconception as to what to expect from a physiotherapy appointment.
The project took around three weeks from conception-distribution and was released early in September 2016. Everything was shot in the U.K over three days.
The concept was developed by myself and Chris Brunner (Senior Content Producer, Nuffield Health). We wanted to take the brand in a slightly new direction, using comedy to connect with our audience.
Equipment wise, we used the RED Weapon CF in combination with Cooke S4i Minis. To speed up post, I opted to shoot in widescreen mode. I added a fairly standard “punchy” grade with high contrast and saturation.
This film was extremely well received and has since been re-edited into multiple different lengths and to include new branding. Plans are also in place to extend it’s use into 2017 as an acquisition tool.
